Concilia Nkeiru Amaonye, APRN, PMHNP-BC.
Concilia Nkeiru Amaonye started her nursing career as a Licensed Practical Nurse caring for patients in a skilled nursing facility. She attended the University of Kansas School of Nursing, earning her bachelor’s degree in nursing in 2007. She devoted her service to Truman Medical Center Kansas City in 2007, starting as a medical-surgical nurse and then transferring to a psychiatric mental health nurse due to the love and passion she developed caring for patients with mental illness. Concilia then pursued her interest in psychiatric nursing at Walden University and earned her master’s degree in psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner. Concilia is now a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC). She has worked as Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) since 2021. She focused on diagnosing and medication management in the treatment of mood disorders, depressive disorders, anxiety disorders, ADHD, Bipolar disorder, and psychotic disorders. Concilia sees both the younger age and the older population.
