Paige Barbeau, Psy.D.

Paige Barbeau is a postdoctoral fellow at Florissant Psychological Services. She earned her doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology from Kansas City University and completed her predoctoral internship at the Center for Behavioral Medicine. Dr. Barbeau also holds a master's degree in forensic psychology from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology.

Dr. Barbeau has experience conducting forensic evaluations, including assessments of competency to stand trial and criminal responsibility. Additionally, she currently conducts psychological pre-employment evaluations for police, fire, and public safety personnel.

Her professional background spans a variety of settings, including state-affiliated forensic hospitals, private practice, and college counseling centers. She has conducted research on the efficacy of competency restoration treatment modalities, including the Slater Method Training Program for individuals with intellectual deficits.

Dr. Barbeau's areas of interest encompass diagnostic testing, pre-employment and fitness-for-duty evaluations, forensic assessment, competency restoration treatment, teaching, and research.
