Rachel N. Owens, LSCSW, LCAC
Rachel N. Owens is a Licensed Specialist Clinical Social Worker and Licensed Clinical Addiction Counselor. She earned her Bachelor's Degree in Social Work and a Certificate in Addictions from Wichita State University in 2017, followed by her Master's in Social Work at the same institution in 2018. Rachel has served individuals with diverse psychiatric needs, focusing on the post-conviction population. Her experience includes providing substance use disorder treatment services in residential and outpatient substance use treatment programs for men and women in both urban and rural settings. In Community Mental Health, she has provided crisis intervention services to community members during mental health emergencies and competency evaluations for incarcerated individuals. Her professional interests encompass mood disorders, thought disorders, substance use disorders, and sex offense-specific treatment. Presently, she conducts psychosexual, and substance use disorder evaluations for adults and juveniles, in addition to offering therapy for those aiming to improve their lives after incarceration. Rachel is committed to assisting every client in realizing and leveraging their strengths to construct the life they aspire to.
