Alaina Rhoad
Alaina Rhoad is a Licensed Master Level Psychologist. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training in 2009, with a focus in Psychology, and received her Master of Arts degree in Counseling Psychology in 2013 from University of Saint Mary. Since that time, Alaina has been working with adult and juvenile offenders in a variety of settings including the Community, Detention Centers, Residential Facilities, and Correctional Facilities. She is a Clinical Member of the Association for the Treatment of Sexual Abusers (ATSA). Alaina is a Certified Behavioral Health Professional by the American Correctional Association. She has experience in general behavioral health interventions as well as crisis services. Alaina specializes in sex offender treatment and assisted in the planning and implementation of the sex offender treatment program at the Kansas Juvenile Correctional Complex. She has experience in group and individual therapy for a variety of populations. Alaina serves on the state’s Multidisciplinary Team, responsible for evaluating potential sexually violent predators. She completes evaluations and assessments for adults and juveniles. These evaluations include: psychological evaluations, psychosexual evaluations and risk assessments, and competency evaluations. In addition to rehabilitation, accountability and risk management, Alaina’s professional goals are to provide an alternative voice for a population that otherwise may not be heard.
