Director, Sex Offender Treatment Team
Seth Wescott is a Licensed Master’s Level Psychologist.Mr. Wescott has been working in the forensic mental health field since 2002.He has worked in maximum security prisons for both adults and juveniles. In addition, he has worked with offenders in various community-based settings. Mr. Wescott has received advanced training and continuing education in forensic evaluation and treatment, and has presented at numerous conferences throughout the years. He is a Clinical Member of the Association for the Treatment of Sexual Abusers (ATSA).
Mr. Wescott has been relied upon to provide testimony as an expert witness on numerous occasions in matters regarding sexual offenders. In 2009, he was appointed by the State of Kansas Secretary of Corrections to the State’s Multi-Disciplinary Team, responsible for evaluating potential sexually violent predators. In addition to his work with adult offenders, Mr. Wescott has served as the Chief Psychologistand Director of Mental Health at the Kansas Juvenile Correctional Complex. Mr. Wescott has been employed at Clinical Associates as the Director of the Sex Offender Treatment Program since 2011. His duties have included program oversight and evaluation, and hiring of clinical and administrative staff. Under his direction, the sexual offender treatment program has grown in clients served and staff each year. In 2012 the program expanded to include treatment services at an additional correctional facility. In 2016 the program began providing psychosexual evaluation and treatment services to youth adjudicated of sexual offenses. In addition to his work with the sexual offender treatment program, Mr. Wescott provides forensic evaluation and treatment services for United States Probation, and private attorneys. He also sees clients in private practice, and conducts evaluations and therapy for individuals receiving Medicaid. Mr. Wescott provides training to various agencies and organizations upon request.
